also what pokemon should I use to defeat the elite 4 I silver and what level should they be at.

on pokemon blue and red at the place where the gym is locked at the begining talk to the old guy the shows you how to catch a pokemon say yes then go to the place where u get the volcaneo badge and swim the right edge of the island keep going back and forth at the edge the when u find this werid looking pokemon kill it after when u killed it u get alot of rare candys
