Pokemon Ruby/Sapphire: Features

One of the big problems with Pokemon Ruby/Sapphire is that many features that Crystal version had, dissapeared in the new versions. One of the losses include the the fact that there is no night or day or day of the week events. Also, out of the 400 Pokemon ever invented, including the new ones, only 200 appear in the game. And whenn you hear that there is a new region, called Hoenn, you might think that you travel from Hoenn to Johto then Kanto, but in actual fact you never go beyond the new region.
However, features are gained. You can create secret bases and decorate them like your own home, and you can compete in Pokemon contests and win ribbons for your pokemon. And Gold/Silver's pathetic exuse for a safari zone replacment, the bug catching contest, has gone and you can go to a new safari zone. ;D

I think the Pokemon leage has got a bit (read as alot) more random with the pokemon each person has.
