Anyone heard about the new Sims game coming out? After a total of 7 (yes, 7  ) expansion packs, a Sequel, not an expasion pack but an entirely new game, will be released. It will have a new look and new objects, and the characters will be more lifelike than ever. Say goodbye to not knowing the difference between friend and family, the new sims will be able to react differently to each other depending on their relationship. Before this game comes out, what looks like the last ever expansion pack for the original sims, "Makin' Magic" which will be based around "makin' magic"  , making it a sort of Harry Potter Sims, using your wand for your cooking .etc |

Well I have heard of Sims 2 - what it will be like is a complete mystery. Hopefully it will not be so highly detailed that many people with slightly older computers cannot run it without problems. The Sims is a pretty good game on the whole and I have high expectations of this new game.
And about this Makin' Magic - I have never heard of it. But I don't think it is a good idea. Yes, having a magic lamp etc. in House Party was unrealistic, but fun. This is a simulation game, and I thought the idea was to keep it as real as possible. By having magic you cannot run a household like you would in real life.
Anyway - high hopes for Sims 2!
